Literacy development starts early in life and is highly correlated with school achievement.  The first years are especially critical for those children with disabilities who may have difficulty learning in the typical fashion.

Join Assistive Technology Specialist Debbie Drennan for this presentation as she explores:
  • The six early literacy skills and the strategies and adaptations you can use to help your child develop these pre-reading and writing skills.
  • Ways to adapt books and materials to make story-time a much more engaging experience for your child.
  • Internet websites and iPad/Android apps, many free, that promote Early Literacy.
Sorry, no childcare.  You can reserve a space ahead of time.
