Alice Wershing, Educational Technology Coordinator at the East Tennessee Technology Access Center, is going to cover the top seven changes to technology that have dramatically improved assistive technology for students with significant disabilities, including  current trends of wireless, mobile, and cloud-based technologies, emerging technologies such as switch-access to the iPad and iPod, and recent improvements to eye gaze systems. The relevance of social media and a selection of free technology useful for students with disabilities will be included.
