Accessibility Options for High Stakes Testing

December 3, 2014
11AM Pacific, 2PM Eastern

School districts across the country use a computer-based platform, such as Pearson's TestNav, to deliver high stakes tests to its students, including those with disabilities. Find out which technologies (keyboards, mice, switch interface devices, etc.) have been tested and found to be compatible with the latest version of this test. This webinar will identify peripheral devices (plug & play) that have been tested and approved to interact successfully with this computer-based platform, as well as discuss the latest built-in technology available to students with these accommodations. This presentation will also identify which students may benefit and be eligible to use this technology, who makes decisions about which students get to use these tools, and how to ensure a student has access to this technology during high stakes testing.

Presenter: Cindy Richardson, M. Ed.
